Hey!

I’m home on my own and I’m (sorta) doing my RS homework. Obviously I’m blogging too…

Can I just ask, what is the world’s obsession with yelling my name out of windows? Can someone answer me that? It’s happened 3 times in the past week, twice on the same day! It’s weird/stupid, maybe it’s the same person! Eeek! I’m being stalked, but why? Maybe it’s cos I’m sooooo famous…?

Anyway, not much happened today. I had the best PE lesson today: not doing any PE at all! We had to do a crossword on basketball and a wordsearch on rugby then we could do what we liked! PLUS! Our coverteacher wasn’t there for half of the lesson. Though, you leave our class alone for 10 minutes and people start shouting, someone starts crying and someone else starts singing…

Do you ever have those days when you’re walking home and you feel so damn good? I had one today, the sun was shining, my bag was light and I was sucking a lollipop. Happy days! :)

Also today, I won a pot of sweets in a “Guess How Many Sweets in the Jar” Game for Sport Relief! The pot was borrowed from the tech department so I had to eat all the Haribos and stuff the wrapped sweets in my pockets! With a little bit of help, I managed to finish them in an hour (Thanks Molly and Eleanor!) but I feel sick now :(

So, I really have to actually do the homework! Ciao!

I’m Sophie, nice to meet you. To introduce myself, I’m gonna write a little bit of info and random facts about myself!

Five Things I Couldn’t Live Without

1. My laptop- I use it like, everyday and I love it!
2. My family and friends- A bit obvious…
3. My CD collection- I love music and I have a pretty big collection and love it, it’s one of my most treasured things and yes, I realise that is a *tad* sad
4. My iPod- I just love it!
5. My drawing stuff- I love to draw, doodle and design clothes.

Five Things I love

1. Music- Music is probably one of the most important things in my life, I’ve learnt a lot from it, it has supported and inspired me and the artists and songs I listen to have changed my life (more on that later)
2. Performing- I love to dance, sing and act and I’ve been going to stagecoach for 6 years now and ballet class for 8 years! Wow…I’m sad…
3. Privacy- Don’t get me wrong, I love friends, parties, going out etc. loads! I’m such a loud and talkative person but if I don’t have time to myself, by myself, each day then I get stressed, worried, etc. Is that weird?
4. Friends- Friends are such a big part of my life, I see them nearly every day and love them loads! I have 4 really close friends at the moment and a few more are getting closer!
5. Nature- Ok, I’m a city girl really, I love London and live just outside of it, though I’m definitely going to live there when I’m older. That’s the thing, where I live is close to the city AND has a bit of countryside too! I just love the peaceful-ness you get in the summer in the country, though not painful, long walks, thank you!

Five things I hate

1. Clique-y, bitchy girls- There’s a lot of it around, you know, the self-appointed “popular” girls who wear just Abercrombie or Holister. Grrrrr!
2. Stereotyping- I hate stereotyping/being stereotyped. People often judge me by the things I like and the artist I listen to
3. Bullying- This includes homophobia, racism etc. and it irritates me- gays/black people/the opposite sex etc. are still people, like you and me. I thought we were meant to be living in a changing world…
4. Manufatured bands/people just in it for fame and money- I want to be in the music business when I’m older for the joy of doing what I love as a job, sadly some people just want the cash. These days, you don’t even need to sing to be able to get in there
5. People asking if I have facebook- No. Get over it. I might get it, when I’m actually old enough for an account… :P

My closest friends

1. Molly- crazy, funny, sarcastic, ginger (ok, it’s more brown than ginger…) Molly is awesome. End of.
2. Becca- We have this joke that random and weird Becca has no brain. Now we’re starting to wonder if it’s more than just a joke…
3. Eleanor- She’s clever, organised and stylish: Eleanor is the more mature of us. Not very then…
4. Rianna- Cute, crazy, always hyper Rianna is one of the weirdest people I know- and I know some pretty weird people…

My favourite artists

1. McFly- My no1 favourite band. I am an original fan, from the very beginning and as they’ve become more rock-y, so have I! I saw them at wembly in ‘08 as my very first concert and, dude, wow. Flying stage, great effects and more importantly, great music and a band who cares.
2. My Chemical Romance- As soon as I say the three words, “My Chemical Romance”, people often stereotype me with the word “emo”. Not true. MCR is an awesome rock band and The Black Parade was an album with a message: carry on. Whatever the world throws at you, carry on. Most fans say this and I’m one of them- MCR saved my life.
3. Queen- Freddie Mercury is one of my biggest influences, he made great music, didn’t care about what people thought of him and was an entertainer.
4. Green Day- Ah, Green Day. One word: awesome!
5. The Killers- Mr Brightside is my favourite song ever, I just love it! Thank you Mr Brandon Flowers!

Top Five Favourite Films

1. Zoolander- A hilarious classic! “Have you ever wondered if there’s anything more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking? *pose*” Genius!
2. New Moon- I’m a twi-hard! And I’m Team Edward and proud. New Moon is sooo much better than Twilight though…
3. Twilight- But I didn’t say Twilight was rubbish though, did I?
4. The Devil Wears Prada- I watched this with my mum and loved it!
5. 7 Pounds- I actually cried when I watched this but I still love it

Don’t worry, it’s only a kidney…

Hey

I’m just gonna cut to the chase: basically, I have a kidney infection. :) And like the title says, don’t worry it’s ONLY a kidney.

Anyhoo, not much is happening right now. School’s boring, weather is awful (we had another mountain of snow) and…um…yeah.

Oh yeah, I started LAMDA drama lessons on Sat and I need to look at my pieces!

Might see Avatar on Sunday, depending on how I feel.

And yeah, that’s about it.

I’m not dead (no matter what the papers have said) + A WORLD FAMOUS SOPHIE RANT! YAY!

Hey!

So, I’m not dead, I just forgot- again! I’m not gonna bother with excuses, this is only gonna be a short post, I need to go to bed, I’m tired.

So, I hope you all had a fab Christmas and got loadsa amazing presents! I got quite a lot off my wishlist (but no guitar! :[) and I got some money so I am gonna buy more CDs! I got a new cd rack- thank god, I only have 6 spaces left and I can buy 6 CDs very easily!

Enough about my addiction to CDs- I’m going ice skating with Emma on Thursday, I’ve never been before so I’m quite excited! Any tips?

Also, I finally tidied my desk today- and properly! Meaning, I took everything off the desk then cleared out the junk, replaced a few photos and then put some stuff on again, plus I got rid of all the dead pens, my bin is now INCREDIBLY heavy from all the pen corpses…

Talking of corpses, I finally watched The Corpse Bride the other day and, like every other Tim Burton film I see (btw, who’s looking forward to his version of Alice In Wonderland? It looks awesome!), I loved it! Can anyone else imagine it on the stage? Or is that just me?

I’ve recently become addicted to America’s Next Top Model, and we’re currently on cycle 10, even though I know who wins (Whitney! Finally! A “Plus-Size” Model!) Personally I find labeling people “plus-size” rather offensive, just because they’re not stick thin! So what? I’m not a size 6 or 8 but I can still look good and I don’t class myself as fat! “Plus-Size” People are normal people and, as Whitney proudly proved, they can be models and thank God the fashion industry are starting to realise that! Making girls have an eating disorder, purposely or not, isn’t fair, especially not just for something as small and materialistic (yes, I do like fashion and clothes, believe it or not, I just don’t think it should rule some peoples lives as much) , nothing is worth risking your life for. Again, thank God the fashion industry are starting to realise that! Now, we just need to get rid of that horrid “plus-size” label…

Sorry about the rant, it’s just something I feel strongly about!

Argh! I forgot about tumblr!

Ok, well, I wasn’t that bad, I just haven’t got around to posting in aaaggeesss!

My life has been: not too interesting.

Next I will just write down things that have happened with no fancy detail and in a random order.

Yesterday I had a stagecoach show and my friends had to dress up as turkeys (luckily, I didn’t). We bought our christmas tree today and we’ll decorate it tomorrow. I made mince pies yesterday at school. I went to an art talk of a family friend on Thursday. The Bill is finally back on the telly. I found out the date of when my favourite character is leaving The Bill. Top Gear has started again. Becca said that I have nice skin. Miranda started helping me write a song. I finished NaNoWriMo (I don’t know if I’ve said that before). I finally got MSN working again on the computer. I bought Molly a birthday present. I finally admited that I fancy charlieissocoollike. I cleared out my makeup box. I started to learn how to play Bella’s Lullaby on the piano and I’m doing well. I did my grade 5 flute exam for the 2nd time on Monday (not sure how it went, I can’t actually remember it). I calmed down my addiction to watching things on BBC iPlayer. I joined the school manga club. I saw New Moon and loved it. I got some really cute bracelets in my advent calendar and added them to the collection of bracelets on my wrist. I wrote in my German test that me and my family drove to Italy and my mum ate cake in the car, just because I couldn’t think of anything else to say (obviously I wrote it in German). I had a German and a French end of unit test. I started reading The Time Traveller’s Wife and I’m loving it. I am also reading Wuthering Heights, If Minds Had Toes and The Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac (spelling?) so that makes 4 books. I decided that I am going to marry Edward Cullen. I almost exploded with excitement while reading an interview with Gerard Way in Kerrang! magazing (I am soooo excited about their new album and can’t wait). I got a Team Edward mug. I realised that I love photography, I just don’t know what to take pictures of. I dressed up as Wednesday Addams for Halloween and bought a black wig but it made me look like Ozzy Osbourne, not a good look.

loads more have happened it’s just, a) I can’t think of anymore b) it would take ages for me to write it all down and c) I can’t be bothered.

I am so sorry that I neglected you, tumblr.
